After a loooong trip we are finally in Sydney. We went from Newark to Chicago, Chicago to San Francisco and then San Francisco to Sydney. In flying time 21 hours, but then there was the time in the airports too. The kids did really well, and all of us got some sleep. The flight from San Fransisco to Sydney was the longest with 14 hours, but we ended up having a row of 3 seats and a row of 4 seats for ourselves - lucky us or lucky kids because they could sleep pretty good :).
We arrived at the hotel 8am local time, but couldn't get a room until 12. So we went on a little walk around town and saw the Sydney Opera House - what an amazing structure - until we could get our room and a shower - hurray!
